Octavia Butler AI and Other Possible Worlds


In tandem with the eponymous book, the exhibition and symposium explores the generative possibilities of human-alien relations. Inspired by the Xenogenesis trilogy of Octavia Butler. Using generative antagonistic networks (GAN) this work meditates and mediates forms of portraiture and landscape. Digital projection and oil paintings exhibited November 2023 at the Centre for Culture and Technology.
